The past couple of years our family has really got into antleope hunting. This year we drew some good tags in different states and these are the pictures of those hunts.
1st trip was to New Mexico on a 5-day archery hunt.
I killed first, 14.75" tall 70.5"gross
Then my uncle killed his the next day 13" tall 69.25" gross.
On the 2nd to last day my brother finally killed his
Then it was off to wyoming
uncle Yorys was first, (shot the wrong buck)13"tall around 70"
Then his brother killed his 14" tall 74.125" gross
Then their brother ferd shot his (on famed unit 60, we werent that impressed) 14" tall 6.25" cutters 81.625" gross
At the same time those hunts were going on my grandma had finally drawn a tag here in utah. On the 9th day of seeing of seeing very few antelope and nothing over 75" all the sudden the biggest buck any of us had ever seen in utah; and she killed him!
16 and 16.25" tall 7.125 and 6.975" cutters and over 20" of mass a side.........85" gross should be able to have him officially scored a a few weeks.
My uncle Seth had drawn a New Mexico muzz tag and shot this buck the first morning (biggest buck of the 3 on the ranch he got to hunt) 14" tall 81.5" gross, tons of mass.
Then it was back to Wyoming for some type 2 rifle hunts
Our buddy Travis shot his first antelope on this trip 13.5" tall 74.625" gross.
Then uncle Seth shot one (wrong one, no pictures)
Then I shot mine. 15.5" tall 77.125" gross (i think he is way pretty)
Finally my bother shot his later that day with his daughter watching. 14.25" tall 6" cutters and 7" bases, 82.5" gross.
It was a good year.
