Hey everyone, I am new to the site and have really enjoyed all the great pics and info. I have only been able to stumble across one small 3 point shed this year. I am blown away by you guys who are finding 20 in a single day. I would really appreciate any tips on the right time of year and terrain that produce the best finds. Thanks a lot.

is the spot you going to have a lot of deer or elk. for a pre check go before they drop and see if there is any game migrating to where you go. that is the best tip that i can give you.

In my neck of the woods, the game doesn't really migrate too far. I agree, that there does need to be a presence of game in an area to find shed antlers (especially fresh/browns). My recommendation is similar to the last post. I don't believe one must actually see the game in an area. As long as there is fresh sign in the form of fresh tracks/droppings....one should do fine. This also helps in not boogering the game out of the area with your intended finds still attached.
