Looking to hunt WY for whitetail doe's

My brother and I are thinking about hunting for some whitetail doe's but have never hunted WY before any advice for DIY on public land and if possible to overlap with hunting cow elk.

As you can tell whitetail hunting in this state isnt very big haha. I think your best option looking at the leftovers would be area 116-8 and get a pitchfork HMA permission slip. There are also leftover cow tags around that area as well.

I see what you mean on the whitetail. Any thought on just cow elk from the leftover tags?
