so i just drew my gen. elk tag and im pretty confident ill draw my region h deer tag. im planning on doing a diy backpack hunt since these seasons overlap in elk units 82 and 84. ill be out there for the elk opener sept.26.i was thinking about the clause peak area.near the hoback junction. anyone familiar with this area? or have any advise they would give me for this hunt? its my first elk hunt so even the basics could help me. feel free to email me if you dont want to post it.
