BCBOY - as usual, great pics. The whole backpacking thing with the family is just awesome. I would like to see that little wolf full grown in a year or 2. He would look great in my trophy room!

Is that a fox or a small wolf? There's not any foxes that color in my neck of the woods but it's nose looks to pointed to be a baby wolf.

What amazes me is that you can get your family out there and actually rough it. My wifes idea of roughing it is camping at the local KOA camp ground. Pretty cool.

In these parts they come in a multitude of colors from red to silver to black to blue to all the above mixed in. Not unlike our bears.

I haven't fished for years, but this year I plan on changing that. The rivers and creeks don't open up till July and we're definately going to be packing fishing rods with us come summer. We've got our calender booked up with several high country lakes as our destination. Hope to post up some pics of some Rainbows in July and August.
Here's some pics from a bear trip we did the weekend previous. No bears hit the ground as things were a little late greening up. I think this weekend we've got a good chance at my son hammering a bruin. Hope to post up some success pics come the end of the weekend.

Yup, it's the silver phase of the red fox. He was rather intent on chowing down and didn't really care I was there. I think he thought he died and went to heaven. This time of year, it doesn't take long before a bear would claim a carcus like that.
