what is everybodies opinions on long range rifles for antlope.

Clarify your question please. Are you looking for opinions on the ethics of it or are you looking for opinions on what kind of long range rifle to buy?

I am wondering the same. I use a "long range" rifle but its not a big bullet, .257 WBY Mag. I would shoot out to 400 with no ethical problems. Are you talking about Lazzeroni's type guns and really long distance's?? or all shooting at long ranges??? Thanks, Allen Taylor......

I know someone here on MM that shoots Coyote's with his 50 BMG out there around 1/2 mile range or so.
But not Antelope, hell there would be no meat left.
