UNM is not one of my two almamaters, but because I live here, I pretty much pull for 'em except when they play my -maters. Thus, it felt like an unexpected kick in the stomach to hear that Rocky resigned today. I hope he left on his own terms and was not being forced to resign; I think of him as one of the good guys, and wish him happiness, whatever he decides to do in the future.

Long was a good hard nosed coach from my perspective. Sorry to hear him leave. I am sure he will coach somewhere else soon enough. Maybe he needs a fresh start!

Utah State is looking for a new head coach.....He couldn't do worse than that last guy if he tried!

Rocky's alright. Look alittle farther south to Aggie Land and the cess pool Hal Mummy has created. Maybe we could boot Mummy and get Rocky down here. that's a helluva good thought.
Glad BB season is starting.
