Live Cage Trapping

Been going through the BIG D so I have not been out here in a year, just getting things back together.

My ol man is thinking about getting into Livecage Trapping and was wondering if anyone had any tips on how to do this, methods, scents, etc. He use to trap in the old days of Steel Traps and is wanting to get back into it. I was just wondering if anyone had any info. or knew where he could find some.

Also, is it legal to hang a nongame animal in front of a Livecage trap?
