Lightning Strike Kills
While hunting. A good friend and taxidermist of mine had his tent struck by lightning Sunday. It killed his brother.
They tried for 1 and ? hours to revive him with no luck. I just wanted to offer my condolences and send prayers for Eldon and his Family.
Eldon has done all my taxidermy work for 20 years. Lightning strikes close to home. Be careful all. God Bless you and yours.
Eldon lives in Centervill Ut.

SAD DEAL FOR SURE!!!

THE LAST NIGHT OF THE MUZZ HUNT I SEEN THE MEANEST LIGHTNING STORM I'VE EVER ENCOUNTERED!!!

IT WAS STRIKING 2-3 TIMES PER SECOND RIGHT AROUND ME AT TIMES!!!

I HEARD A RICHTER GUY ALSO WAS KILLED BY LIGHTNING???

THE ONLY bobcat THAT KNOWS ALOT OF YOU HAVE HAD THIS IMAGE IN YOUR PEA BRAIN BUT DUE TO POOR SHOOTING TACTICS I'M STILL KICKIN!!!

Same guy Richtor. Been there when it was striking like that not fun. In fact not far from Altamont. The trees next to our tent was blown to smithereans.

Danged tuff Kelly!
Perty sad...
Is Eldon the guy that stuffed Mike's elk?
All my best karma that's left will be going his way!

Damn bad luck right there! I'm real sorry.

I hope that's how I go though....on a hunting trip, not in some hospital bed dying of ...........

I'm sorry to hear that, my best wishs to the family.

Nickman has a good point. Of all the ways to go I suspect lightning strike is pretty fast and painless, and what better place and time than out hunting.
