Above is a picture of a ram that a friend took two years ago in New Mexico. This is the best sheep mount that I have ever seen. It was mounted by Dawayne Dewey out of Cody, WY.

Work by Greg Heil of Re Creation Taxidermy, formally of Richfield Utah now in Nampa Idaho

Some great taxidermy work all the way down. There is a Grand Slam of full body mounts at the Ford dealership in Logan, Utah.

That ram that Dewayne Dewey did is spectacular.
Here are some from the WTA competition that I took pics of a few years back...

Just wondering if the New Mexico Ram is the same one shown on the cover of Huntin' Fool. Regardless, both are great rams!

The life size New Mexico ram is the same ram that appeared on the cover of Huntin Fool. The hunter is Vince Schneider from WA. Vince is one lucky guy. He has already drawn some phenominal tags again this year.

That is one amazing looking mount and I knew I had seen that set of horns before. My dad drew a NM sheep tag in 2007 and I must say, sheep hunting is the ultimate experience. Good luck on your draws and let's see what NM has in store for us this year!

Dawayne Dewey's sheep are the best out there. His habitat and bases are unreal. He had a lifesize, bedded stone ram at the Utah show and GSC convention that was un-freakin-believable. It was the talk of the show for those into sheep taxidermy.
