Leupold BDC dial

Has anyone sent their scope in the Leupold to have a custom BDC dial for elevation placed on their scope. If so, how accurate is it? Worth the extra money?

yes, very and YES If you get it done get the big numbers on your dial makes it easier to see in the dim light or dark.

I have mine set up on a 30-378 Wthby shooting 165 BT 3600 fps It a great shooter.

I'm looking into the bdc dials does my scope need mill dots. Or do you dial the range and thats it.

No milldots. You turn the elevation dial to the necessary yardage, put the crosshairs on him and pull the trigger. (Remembering wind also).
