Lets talk HEAT!

I have noticed that many fellow shed hunters are packing heat with them. I am interested to know what they carry and why they carry that particular gun.

I carry a .454 Super Red Hawk Casull. I know, it's a bit big, but I dont have to worry about being able to stop something in their tracks.

I just pack my S&W .40. I'm more worried about the 2 legged critters. 15 rounds should do the job.....

Ruger 22 single six, Sometimes I get bored and like to plink. I just subconciously feel better packin, Bigger heat is usually in the truck.How do you like your S&W .40 Andyman?

Depending on what mood I'm in I may be packing one of the fallowing...

S&W 686 6" 357
Colt Peacemaker in 45 LC
Glock 27

Sometimes I even lug my Model 94 30-30 around..

I carry my Glock 30 with a spare full size magazine . I like how small , and easy that pistol is to carry .

44 mag......cause it's the only pistol I own. Never had to use it but it's nice to have a companion by my side while hunting those "man eating sheds". LOL

BB, I really like my little Smith & Wesson. It feels so much better in my hand than my XD. I got it on sale at Cabelas. They had $50 off, a $50 rebate from S&W, and two free magazines for a grand total of $250.
