Leica Televid 62APO???

has anyone used this spotter before? I'm talking about the older silver and black ones not the new all black ones. I am looking to buy a new spotter and you can pick these up relatively cheap. I was just wondering if that was from a lack of quality? Or as I heard, they are just the older style and leica is liquidating their inventory of them. Any help would be nice thanks.

I have one it is a very nice spotter, a little heavy but great glass. Nothing wrong with this scope.As good or better than a SWAR. 65.If you can get a deal on one I would get it, I dont think you would be disappointed.

When I was in the market for a scope I narrowed it down the the Televid APO and a Swaro HD. I ended up with the Swaro but was very impressed with the Televid. Given the prices they are being sold at these days, due to the new model introduction, they are a great value. The quality of the unit was great, and the image, IMHO and to my eyes, was very close to the Swaro overall.
