LE Oakcreek deer

I'm thinking about burning a butt load of points for this unit. Couple questions; does this unit harbor bucks that are trophy caliber (200"s+)? After the last fire a few years ago is glassing the preferred method of finding such a trophy? Also, any reputable outfitters for that unit? Thanks

This is a damn tough hunt. We call it a young mans mountain. Steep rough rocky country. They have killed some nice bucks up there the last couple of years. It was great the 2 or 3 rut seasons, seeing good bucks on the unit. This year however was very dismal and discouraging looking for big deer while they were rutn. I spent countless hrs on the unit during nov and dec and did not see a 180 buck. Im afraid a lot of big deer hit the ground the last 3 yrs. if I had a lot of pts this unit would not be an option for me, but that's my opinion.
