How many of you encounter this "problem"?... out hiking hoping to find sheds, I'm either too late for this season, or too early for next one... I "found" a "matched set", but they were "in velvet"!!

He's a Beauty Pete!

You got a Permit?

I don't care if they're big or small!
If they throw lead I like em all!
:p

Naw Lulu... I can't put in for bull elk again until 2013, but I do have a late season cow elk permit for the area. Just as much fun huntin' 'em with camera, though,if I can just have a bit more of prep time. Seems like I usually find these animals when I least expect it, and things get pretty exciting rather quickly!

Pete wouldn't you just crap your pants if you found his sheds next spring? Dandy Bull!

Pete, if I was finding bulls like that I think I would give up shed hunting and take up photography. Very nice. fatrooster.

Sounds like there won't be any sheds off that Bull ever again!:D

Nedd to know more than what's posted...heard a Depredation Hunt bull lookin' to be a 370+ bull was taken, supposedly within the 5 mi. of Lake Valley Farms. If it's the same bull, this guy I posted up was on the Camp Valley side of the White Rock Mts. July 23rd.

What hunt did they kill this bull on? I know they did away with the depredation hunt this year. The cow hunt is ongoing, but I can't figure out what tag would allow you to hunt a bull down there right now, other than the governors tag.

YOO-HOO LU-LU! Don't know your e-mail, but here's another- a front view of that bull...you think he's done, huh? Camp Valley in the White Rock Mts. on July 23rd.(Area 231)

I still want to hear what tag he was killed on? The only thing I could think of would be the governors tag. There's nothing else open down there right now for antlered bull.
