Late 67 or 66 Bucks?

Just curious how the late hunters did this year. Let's see pics if you have them. There were only 20 late tags in 67 as opposed to 40 in previous years. I live here and my impression is that few nice bucks were taken. I heard of one good buck showing up at Huskeys on the general opener, but that's about it. It sounds like the cow elk hunters had a very hard time filling their 67 cow tags too.

my dad had the tag in 67 this year. i had it last year. man what a difference. last year it was sit back and wait for the ideal buck to walk by. not unusual to see 15 to 20 nice bucks and 5 to 10 shooters each day. i ended up with a good buck but not the biggest i saw.

this year, only saw maybe three shooters, one of which my dad took. very few deer at all, even with the decent amount of snow just before thanksgiving. winter kill must have been terrible. granted conditions are different this year, but i wouldnt have anticipated the lack of deer in the same areas. ended up with a heavy 27" 4+ y.o. buck. not real old but mature. nice eye gaurds as well. it was my dads best buck to date and my brother and i were able to be there to watch it all go down, which is more meaningfull than any B&C buck could ever be.

Idhunters you just blew your cover. One less elk yes, but don't get these boys thinking there are big bucks in that hungry a$$ middle fork country!

I know if one buck in 67. It was only 23 wide but tall. Maybe a 155 buck. Not a good unit anymore.

I have a couple buddies who drew this tag. Took a couple of dandys but only seen a few big ones
