Last weekend was our third annual partnership Youth Turkey Camp and it was a resounding success. The Arizona Elk Society takes cares of camp logistics and the NWTF takes care of rounding up the mentors to take the kids hunting. This year we had some great support from PVCI, AFC and Hunt of a Lifetime. We had over 60 kids hunting and about 21 other kids in camp. The AES sets up an archery course to teach the kids about bowhunting, the Arizona Flycasters were there teaching kids about flyfishing. Seminars are held each day to teach kids about turkey hunting and predator calling.
Brenda Valentine visited camp and took a young hunter out for a hunt.
