Last day to put in?

Just wondering when the last day is to put in for big game. Also why would you put in for a unit (example101) instead of of region ( example region H) where you can hunt several units?

I believe the 15th of march is the last day for deer and antelope and the reason you put in for one unit instead of a region is normally because the one unit is "Limited Quota"unit or basically a Limited Entry. Were as a region is basically the general tag.
