this is a kill i found a month or so ago. i called the utah dwr and had them go check it out. they seem to be cool so far, we'll see if they let me keep it.
my buddy and i went out two weeks ago and had a pretty good day. 3 sets, and one brown(the smallest forky, not sure how i found that one)
my buddy found this set just before dark. it has just under 19" of mass per side.
we found this 3x3 set a quarter mile from where i found the 3x4 set a couple years ago, it was my first set. same deer but i can't figure out which one is older they both look about the same age
i found this big 4 in a new place i decided to try on monday. i walked for about ten minutes (must have been too much for the little one, she didn't last long) and saw nothing but boot prints. i headed back to my pickup and made it about 30 yards up the hill and found it not too far from a 4 wheeler trail. i think iv'e decided people are generaly lazy and don't want to walk up hills, thats where i find most of my horns.
