Landowners and Shed Hunting

I don't know how many of you have ran into this problem but I"m noticing that most of the landowners here in Utah don't seem to care about any shed laws that are being enforced in the Northern Region. It seems every landowner that I have seen has picked up sheds already and has been for quite sometime. Is there anything that can be done about this? I understand it is their land but the laws are enforced the same whether it be private property or not. Just a gripe I had to get off my back. I've been lucky enough to be able to horn hunt on some private land and respect the opportunity to do so but some people have this invincible attitude that since it's their land they can't get in trouble. Any other people run into this???

In my opinion, the state doesn't have any authority to enforce these stupid laws on private property. That's why they haven't even attempted to prosecute land owners. They know it would be thrown out of court.

They could for the same reason that they can prosecute poaching or homocide on private property. That being said it would be more difficult.

if you have enough money to buy land, that should be your right to pick up sheds on the land. thank god no shed laws here in california!
