Police in Kenya say a man who had confessed to killing a dozen children and escaped from detention this week has been killed by a mob.

That would spur a nation wide man hunt and arrests in the US followed by long expensive trials and convictions leading to over crowded prisons where real criminals would be released back into society to commit more crimes.
