People can be cruel and the anonymity of the internet allows some people to say things that are hurtful and unacceptable when they might not have otherwise.

We see some of that right here on MM with all the pigeon-holing and name-calling toward anyone with a different perspective.

I'm not sure we're better off with all the social media in today's world.
