This set of sheds was found while out scouting for our upcoming turtle hunt! What a shock! We were sneaking in on a small bachlor group of green backs and the tip of the right antler caught our eye. Needless to say, we spooked the green backs with the hooping and holaring! Jade nearly wet himself, after four hours of searching he finally found the match!

Congrats Jade on screwing up our stock on some fine trophies!

That's a real set of hog horns ya found! What state? I'm just about done...ended up with 11 elk and only 21 deer...worst year in quite some time but I managed a fair 300+ set of elk sheds that I may have mounted?

hey oneguy,

my year was a bit slow as well...found about 80 is all...there were a coupla my traditional areas i didn't have a chance to hit this year cuz i was short on time...also need more snow during the coming winter so the bucks/bulls bunch-up unlike the last couple years!

Jeez Berto...I'd be doin backflips if I ever got 80!....I'm only good for about 50. Kinda odd this year...last year the deer I got were on the big side with some real hogs...this year all small but I got some fair elk sheds. 3 of my favorite spots were also being logged pretty heavy this year and that disrupted things abit on the deer....also spent quite abit of time chasing the swamp donkies with no luck..not one single moose paddle....oh well, it was fun and I got out quite abit. Another thing that was odd....couldn't find a bull packin horns while out doing some scouting....now that the sheddin is over....seeing bulls all over the place...go figure. Thanks for the update and take care of yourself.....

wow, the last time i heard of some body screwing up a turtle stalk was a quite a while ago, thanks man it sure is nice to see that there still are people out ther in pursute of soemn true american trophies! nice sheds!
