ISO Nov Deer or Elk hunt for 16 yr old + myself

Hey guys - My son is on the HS varsity football team, which is the worst idea ever since his season basically runs from the archery opener to the last day of the general deer hunt here in Utah .

We are looking for an opportunity to hunt in Nov after his season. Open to anywhere in the west from Arizona up to Montana, and open to deer or elk.

If anyone has any leads or tips on where to look I'd greatly appreciate it.

I would probably try to pickup a 3rd or 4th season rifle tag in Colorado. Your son might have a decent chance in the upcoming secondary draw in Colorado as youth are given 100% preference. Better hurry though, as the deadline is 7/5.
