Is this Mtn Goat a shooter?

Here is a billy I photographed in Little Cottonwood Canyon. I'd say this is a shooter in just about any unit. His bases could be bigger but I put his length at about 10 inches. For comparison I've included a live photo of the 8 3/8" goat I shot this year.

Both are great goats! Congrats on yours! I would have to say that a "shooter goat" is an individual thing. Some guys wake up and all they think about is goats maybe they wouldn't shoot it i don't know. Most people who draw a goat in my home state would more than likely dust either goat. To me its a shooter. Great pictures and thank you for sharing! What state did you kill your goat?

It's not a 10 incher, I can tell you that. Plus he doesn't have much mass. I would think it was a younger billy.
