Is this big for Idaho?

My youngest brother picked up this freakin' monster just a little while after I shot my deer here in Idaho this week. To say he was surprised when he picked this up was an understatement. Tell me what you think. We guessed the antlers to be 8-10 years old due to the condition they are in. It is a 9x12 or 10x12 or something x something!! I would have freaked if I would have seen this buck alive.

Of course, that is big for anywhere! Check out Whitetail forum and the buck that was hit by a car, that thing is unreal. They remind me alot of each other and just curious, did your bro find that up near Sandpoint? If not, about where if you don't mind saying?

No offense, but I would not have carried that out of the hills. Now if it was fresh, yeah but that thing is nearly dust. Maybe that's why it was still there...:)

toughshed,if this is the type of skulls youre leaving behind ,I am dying to see the ones you have brought home .Lets see'em.

You and I both know that finding a fresh skull like that one is gonna be a rare find. I just prefer antlers that still look good rather than chalk, regardless of size. Not trying to be an a-hole just my preference. Still a great find and I didn't have to carry it so no biggy...put it in the garden...:)

Now the fresh antlers off THIS guy...I'd be on them like Rosie O'Donnell at a free lunch buffet...
