Iowa deer hunting

To the guys from Iowa. I have 2 points right now and was going to try to draw a gun tag for next year. Anybody out there know of any reasonable fee trespass deer hunts on private property? I have never been to Iowa but I know there is some good public property in the state but that it also gets hunted/driven hard. All of the fully guided hunts a pretty pricey. I really don't need a fully guided hunt. If anyone knows of a landowner that would accept a trespass fee and maybe show you around the property that is what I am looking for. Thanks for reading

Hello. Trespass fees haven't really gained footing in Iowa yet thankfully. The best thing you can do is start knocking on doors of landowners and asking permission. Best to do this before season starts. The little public land we have in the state is actually quite productive. I would set up on the public and let all other hunters drive deer around to me.
