I agree, its funny when you know the truth, what gets printed, and what people choose to believe.

The only real "take-away" from that article is that as a general rule, lawmakers and politicians (of all parties) dont do enough for wildlife, hunting, trapping, fishing, public lands, etc.

Further, hunters and anglers need to step up and be active in educating elected officials about the need for science based wildlife management, keeping federal public lands under federal control, funding GF agencies, etc. etc. etc.

If they cant be educated on such matters of importance, they can be relieved of public office via the ballot box, and should be.

Problem is most hunters don't vote based on what's best for hunting, which really spans both R and L. We are told to vote R because those guys are for guns and our rights. Yet we also need clean water, land and money for management. It's a screwed up system because many don't think they just do what they are told at the ballot box by orgs with other political motives.
