Dario Franchetti (spelling) won bad bad wreck at the end, doctor at the track said he had a leg injury , otherwise he was OK

While I watch the Race every year it has lost alot of it's luster to Me with the total influx of Foreign Drivers and Manufacturers. The Cars are technically Amazing which brings Me back Year after Year.

I agree with you Tag on the foreign driver thing. I used to follow Indy cars for years and knew who the drivers were and knew a lot about the teams they drove for, not anymore.
The cars are incredible and it make you wonder just how fast they would run at Indy with no restrictions.
When I was a kid we used to always listen to the race on the radio and in the mid '60s my dad would take me to watch the 500 on closed circuit and I actually knew who the drivers were.
Times sure have changed.
