Imnaha Deadhorse ridge/ Harl Butte

Was wondering about Deadhorse ridge during archery,was over there couple years ago during bear season, saw bunch of elk and found some nice sheds. Like the lack of roads, was just wondering if thats just a migratory area, or if those herds hold there through out the year? Headn to Harl butte, just may be to many roads around there and Miller butte for me.
Wondering if anyone had any insight about this? Thanks for any input

LAST EDITED ON Aug-11-10 AT 09:32PM (MST)[p]Deadhorse is a migration area! There are some local elk out there but they are few and far between! There wasn't much snow over here this winter, so a lot of the elk didn't make it down that low!

Harl Butte gets pounded by hunters! The atv's out there are out of control! Now the wolves have been out there chasing elk!

The Imnaha unit is dwindling before our eyes, and the sad thing is its been an overnight change! I will be glad to help you out!
