Actually, the one guy is pretty smart. He knew the "system" couldn't stop him and he still got to hunt.

Even when he did get caught, the fine was less than most guided hunts and he probably got the judge to let him do his jail time in March, when there were no seasons open anyway.

It is the system that is the real idiot here. The fines are not a substantial deterent.

Thanks for the post! At the Lincoln County Chronicle we hate poachers and make it a point to post news about poaching in Idaho, one to expose these idiots and two help promote the reporting of poachers to your appropriate state F&G. Here is another example of some dirt bags that may have been coming to Idaho and poaching for years! At least they got caught this time!
