Idea for a new forum

What about doing a forum that is group buy. It could be a place where people that have connections to suppliers or the company themselves post their product at a discounted rate. I have seen this done on other forums. What do you guys think is this a possibility founder?

Why not just use the classified forum?

If the manufacturers were offered some type of limited advertising opportunity in exchange for the discounts, you could bring in some great Companies. Just throwing in my 2 cents from a Manufacturer's standpoint.
