archery elk yes, rifle deer yes, but there is a controlled hunt in 49 for deer too.

There are controlled hunts for Deer and elk in both units. Controlled deer hunts run Nov 10th-24th. A great tag to have especially for unit 48. Elk hunts are so/so, number have plummetted due to our canine invaders.
There are also general(OTC) tags for deer-archery/rifle and archery elk in both units. Elk is limited to like 742 tags or so, for archery in unit 48, which includes unit 43.
