Idaho whitetail

Is there anyone that would be willing to provide me with some info/help on hunting whitetail in Idaho? My understanding is that northern idaho has the highest density of whiteys but that is about it. I have also heard that most of the whiteys hang in the lower elevations while the muleys are in the higher elevations. Any info would help....thanks!

your right about up north, but i find the whiteys in the deep trees as well as low, they are just thick up north!!!!!!!!

in northern idaho (units 1-9) you'll find whitetails from the creek bottoms to the highest of all surrounding peaks.. 2000 ft. up to 7000ft...there up high with the muldeer.
