idaho unit 54

I drew a Idaho unit 54 antelope tag , and was wondering if any body has had hunted that unit .

I would hunt the western boundry towards the nevada border. There is some private land there that I would ask to hunt.

Never been in that part of Idaho before , I'm looking forward to it . What do you think about the quality and numbers of antelope in that area . It looks like Idaho is very conservative with the tag numbers . One other thing about the season dates . It seems like sep.25 -oct.25 is a pretty long season . I have only hunted Antelope one time before in Colo. , and that was early oct. . The antelope seemed like they were rutting . I'm wondering if any body has any thoughts about hunting the early or late part of the season .
