Idaho unit 28 deer and elk

Wanted to know if hunters were seeing good numbers of elk and deer during the archery season in unit 28. I am going on the general rifle hunt and wondered if the winter last year has hurt the elk and deer numbers alot or if they are still pretty good.

No early, or September achery hunt for unit 28. The rifle hunters are the first ones of the year to hit 28.

All the elk and deer are scattered because of the very wet spring we have had. Look up high and in the areas of the old burns. Starting to get some weather moving in so there should be some type of snow up high. Should be a good year.
