Idaho Speed Goat Area 42

Okay I waited to the last moment. But where did you Idaho guys hide all the big speedsters in unit 42? Was through there a week ago and saw dik dik's. Is someone going to tell me I drew a dud of a tag?

I hunted speeds there several years ago, and have also drawn a deer tag or two out there. From what I saw and have heard and read the most you can hope for is a 13 incher. A 14 incher with mass would be the biggest goat in the unit. I may be wrong but that is my take. This is more of an opportunity hunt with a pretty large number of tags and not much trophy quality. If you find anything over 13" with good prongs and mass you had better spank him.

Thanks. I did, all 13 and one half inches of him. Fun hunt with far more speeders seen than I thought I would see. Also saw a group of 10 young bighorn rams.
