Idaho Mt. Goat Hunt 2011 "What goes up must come down"

Here is a video of my brothers mt. goat hunt we went on last week. It was my turn to run the camera and his turn to shot. Remember this is Idaho's back country, you don't go anywhere without your pack. We call this the Ironman trip. It took two days to get there, one day to hunt and hiked one day out from 8 a.m. till 11 p.m. to the truck. We came to the conclusion that no company can make boots good enough to hike over 15 hours in one day. If they do I want to see them. One of the best items I have purchased for this trip was the big agnes sleeping bag and pad. Best sleeping system you will find.

Congrats to the hunter on a beautiful billy. Lucky for them the billy came rolling down to them. It saved them the gut busting chore of having to pack him out from that hell hole he fell into.

Great footage, great goat.
Just under two weeks for me; I'll be chasing a nice Idaho billy. Hope they keep growing that hair!

Too bad he took such a fall. It is hard country.
