New to the site. I just noticed there was an Idaho forum. Anyways I wanted to share some pictures of the bull I killed here in Idaho this year. Only my second bull so I couldnt be happier. His thirds are almost 22 inches long. Sorry the field photos suck it was on my cell phone. I happened to be alone on this evening hunt.

Congrats, that is a nice bull. Was that a draw or a genral bull hunt? Looks to be earlier in the year.

Don't see 3rd's like that much in Idaho. I feel for you if you had to dig that big body out of that timber patch by yourself, but I'm sure it was satisfying when you where done.

Was he still with cows on the 20th or holed up by himself? I was seeing bulls with cows a little later this year in 39 why I was deer hunting.

Simply awesome bull.

when will you people learn to chase the quality bulls and let these little satellite's walk:)

hell of an elk buddy!!

Thanks everyone. Ya he was with quite a few cows. Once we found them there were a lot of little bulls in the area as well. Didnt see anything real nice but I was mostly after a muley. Change of plans once we found a couple real nice bulls in two different areas. Both with cows and spikes still even at the end of October. Again my morning hunt was up top after muleys, and afternoon and evening hunted the herd that had this bull. Spotted cows in the afternoon. I stopped in my tracks and just waited while I watched the cows feed away at 75 yds. I watched for a long time and finally I heard antlers hitting branches. Double lunged him and he didnt make it far. It was one of the most exciting experiences of my life.
