Looks like the bighorns won this battle. Mr. Siddoway will have to try another tactic to protect his domestic herds.

BOISE, Idaho (AP) - Gov. C.L. "Butch" Otter on Saturday vetoed a bill mandating the Idaho Department of Fish and Game kill or move bighorn sheep that wander onto public grazing allotments.
Otter spokesman Jon Hanian says Otter didn't feel the legislation was in the best interest of the sheep industry or bighorn sheep.
Sportsmen, environmental groups and Indian tribes said they would leave a collaborative panel convened by Otter if he signed the bill.
Sheep industry officials say they could be put out of business if grazing allotments are closed out of concern domestic sheep transmit deadly illnesses to bighorns.
A new bill was introduced Friday that gives Fish and Game officials 120 days to develop a plan to keep bighorns away from domestic sheep.
