I am looking to hunt Idaho this year and was wondering if anyone had any leads on an Archery Education course in Utah. I am new to the archery game so I will need to provide proof of education if i'm not mistaken.

I am not 100% sure, but if you have hunted archery in your home state, I think that covers you for Idaho... You have to fill out an avedavet (sp) that says you have held done so. There is also a grandfather clause if you are old enough.
It is all in the regs.

no grandfather clause for arcery permit, only for hunting LIC.
i think if you were born before 1972 you do not have to go through hunters safty..

If you have been issued an archery license/tag in another state Idaho allows an exemption from the bowhunter education requirement. You are correct that all you have to do is submit the proper affidavit (which is available online at the IDFG website).

We are putting on a Bow Ed class in Feb the 2nd week if you are still interested. It will be at the Lee Kay Center. There is a thread with all the info on this forum.
