Idaho advice

I'm stuck, Late in the year and no hunting plans. me and some hunting buddies would really like to hunt deer and elk in idaho. not sure where i should start ,,, we really like unguided open areas good for scoping, where we can camp or even pull travel trailer with 4wheel atv s for game retrievel. we would prefer southern idaho and need to know where the best place to go would be where we could still by tags over the counter or internet.. any help would be appreciated.....

Unit 43 or 67 have a good time with terrain. There are still places you can go witha 4 wheeler??? You wouldn't know it in my area. Good deer country in both units some elk as well.
