Idaho 43 and 48 Elk Archery

I hunted mostly unit 48 in 2008 and had some success locating elk, but never did harvest one. Anyone willing to provide any asssitstance in places to find some elk? the big fire last year hurt or help the hunt this year? Or anyone looking for a partner to help cover more ground. I am planning on hunting 15 days if necessary and plan to pack in for a night or 2 at a time and use a trailer as a basecamp.

I am sure my hunting partner will bail this year so might be a solo year again lol


The fire took out one of our good spots but not the other
