Idaho Deer Alliance is having another meeting this next Wednesday, June 20th at 6:30pm at Storey Park in Meridian (next to the Speedway & Watertower). It wil be a bring your own food and drink occassion. We thought we'd hold it outside, as long as the weather is nice, which it looks like it will be.

We would like to see more people attend and join the discussions. We need as much input as possible to be successful as an organization. We just sent our first issue of the Idaho Deer Alliance Magazine to the printer and copies will be sent out to members this next week.

Hope to see more people at the meeting next week. Bring your family as there is a playground there for the kids.

If you have any questions or need directions to the park just let me know.

Thanks,

Travis Long

I would love to come and see what IDA is about but I am over 4 hours away. I would like to know what is on the agenda, and give some input, not negative just info from this part of Idaho. I am looking into IDA and its values to become a member. We need some serious help and it needs to be a group battle, not a battle of a few.

Thanks

Where are you located? We are also looking to get other chapters started throughout the state. It is difficult if we only have a few in a concentrated part of the state. We'd like to see others involved in getting chapters started to make sure we're meeting the needs of all areas. The more voices throughout the state under one organization, the better!

As far as an agenda goes, some of the things we will address, since we're restructuring form the original organization, will be:

- Committee roles and responsibilities
- Membership benefits
- IDA Magazine
- IDA Website (What will be the main focus and prupose?)
- Upcoming projects or opportunities to volunteer
- Organization budgeting

The meetings are generally fairly informal, as far as structure goes. However, we would like to talk about anything that Idaho deer hunters have input on. If you or anyone else has suggestions or input on what you think IDA should focus on please let us know. We understand that not everyone can make it to the meetings here in the Boise area. But we certainly want to hear from everyone interested in providing input on the direction IDA should be going!

So please let us know if there is something that you would like to see from IDA. What are your expectations?

Thank you for your interest and support!
