ID Unit 29 Antelope

I was fortunate enough to draw an antelope tag for unit 29 in Idaho. Anyone familiar with hunting goats in this area? I hunted across the highway a couple of years ago and had good luck. Hopefully this year will turnout just as good. Thanks for any help.

I drew that same tag last year. There are a lot of antelope, but what will cause you the most problems is finding the things on public land. There is tons of private land. It was frustrating to see them on some guy's property and not being able to hunt them. Get a blm map so that you know where you can hunt. Also, check in with the fish and game and find out about their access yes program. I saw some on an access yes property last year and I believe the same property is in the program this year, but you need to get a card signed by the landowner if things haven't changed. I did get one last year on BLM land and it was one of the funnest hunts I've ever been on. If you put in enough time you should be able to get one. Good Luck!
