22 miles roundtrip w llamas in the backcountry w my 70 yr old father

Over 6000 vertical feet gained

Found the goat snoozing in some pines

320 yard shot

Miraculous find on the part of his broken horn

Thought I'd post this just to show what a goat print looks like.

Great pictures! Too bad he broke that horn. Did it roll a long ways?

Those goats live in steep rocky terrain. I made a great shot that put him immeadiatly down in what I thought was a reasonable location. Then just like you always hear about he gave a last kick and took a dramatic tumble down some very rough hillside. Probably went over 100 yds.

Great pics. Glad you found the other piece to the horn. That would have been a bit of a heartbreaker. I would love to chase goats someday. How did your llamas perform on a long trek like that? You rent or own?
