Came close to getting a small one...but he spotted me about 70 yards behind him hiding behind a tree.
Made about 5 other stalks during the remainder of the day but 40 yards was as close as we could get....and the time we did get within 40 yards a doe and fawn busted us and the group of about 20 does and fawns and 1 small buck took off over the ridge.
It was a great first day and hopefully this next weekend or the following weekend will be better

Looks like about a 13 or 14" er? with good mass. Nice big bodied antelope, congrats!

Anyone been back out after the lopes? I went out on Sunday and seen a pig! He was about 15 tall with awesome mass and great diggers. Hopefully this weekend he will be in the same area and will give me a chance to get an arrow in him.
He was running with about 20 does and that many eyes is about impossible to stalk in on!
