I walked my ass off today and didn't find crap

Well I'm out here in Az and my wife, 3 year daughter and myself walked our asses off along fences, through the forest ect... and didn't find a damn shed. We did find lots of dead elk (bones, fur) What am I doing wrong? We kicked out some cows but no bulls. This sucks!!!! Can't say I didn't try.

hey tough luck Coues7, we all have our bad days where we only find the pink ones or maybe nothing at all but yea maybe at least you can say you were out there looking and for you even better you were out there with your whole family just away from it all and having nothing to worry about, those are the best times really, just getting out there with your crew and spending the day away from it all, where in AZ were you looking for horns? found a lot of dead elk huh? thats strange, well better luck next time though and be sure to take some good pictures too!

Don't feel bad....I'm stuck at 11 whitetail/muley this year so far....been hunting hard too. No snow this year and bone is really scattered. I don't get alot of horn but I usually have around 30+ this time of year....hope to do better on elk cause I sure can't find any deer this year.....main thing is to get out. Gonna try and get out again today.....
