Had a fridge like this at the shop. It was an older model. Ran like a purring kitten for 3/4 of a century. Cause of death? In about 2010 an employee was dicing the coils and punctured it cause he was part Kitchens. Why don't they build good stuff like the old days. Of course I am daily driving a 21 year old Truck. So a for does last ten years like it should.

My Old Freezer that was built in the 40's that was Willed to me in 1985 went out a couple years ago!
Think my New Freezer will last that long?

I've worked on a couple of itouch units for my kids. Screens can be replaced. You need to be real careful with the ribbon cables. I broke one. Was able to successfully replace one screen, but the case was bent on the corner and I tried to force it. Shattered the new screen.
