I need to buy a new bow bad But I do not know what to buy. I want to spend NO more then 600.00 bucks for the hole outfit site, rest ect. 60lb-70lb,RH. I would like it to last a long time the last one I had is at lest 8 years old. I shot the new Matthews Mission and like it. does any one have one? Is it a good bow? what is better in that price range? fell free to ask ? But I just need some help.

There are tons of bows below that limit. Check out a lot of them online and than go shoot your favorites at your local archery shop.

You can probably pick up one of the big three used all set up for that. Check archerytalk.com classifides or ebay. You can easily get a barely used $1000 set up for less than $600.

if you are still looking for a bow, Utah Archery Center has a good deal... it is a brand new Hoyt Powertech with a five pin tru-glo sight, fuse stabilizer, whisker bisquit and quiver for 679.00... a little bit out of your price range but I thought I would let you know... AJ

Recently purchased a Switchback XT for my Dad. Got it off ebay for under $600. Came w/ a Toxonics sight, alpine soft loc quiver, and a trophy taker rest. Very impressed w/ the bow so far; super smooth. Buddy of mine bought a Bowtech tribute for around $500 a couple years ago as well. Nice bow, but I prefer the XT. I bought a AR 34 a few years back off ebay for $300. Great bow, but a little heavy. Guess my sugestion would be to figure out what you like(by trying at a pro shop), then shop on ebay. Have a pro shop tune it for ya after you buy it, and maybe buy a few accessories at the shop to thank them for their time.

I bought the same Mission by Matthews, with a 5-pin Tru-Glo sight, two piece Matthews quiver, Rip Cord fall away rest, S-Coil stabilizer, Limb Savers and string silencers, out the door with Calif. sales tax for $565.00. Shooting 380 gr., 30" @ 62# 280 fps., with 100 gr. tips. I luv the bow. Hardly any recoil, very quite and fairly light.

Look at Alpine Archery. I shoot their Avalanche Matchgrade and love it. It is right in that price range for everything included. IMO it is the best bow for the price.

It's always an adventure!!!

try ross archery or there is a small high end bow company called forge. i shoot a forge duster and it is deadly. the bow cost me 400 bucks bare bones. total i have a little over 600 in the setup. go to forgebow.com if you want to see the lineup.

PSE, Martin, Diamond, Reflex, Pearson, and Bear all have bows in your price range. Look for a bow under $400 and buy a quality sight and rest. I would look at Bear, PSE, or Martin as I thnk you get a better bow for your money.

I would seriously look at used, the Diamond Liberty is an awesome bow and it is well represented on e-bay.
